1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HooksView (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HooksView is an unofficial, third-party mobile application that provides a companion interface for viewing webhook events from Hookdeck. The App:

• -Is not developed, maintained, or endorsed by Hookdeck Inc.
• -Connects to the Hookdeck API using your personal API key
• -Provides access to view and monitor webhook events
• -Enables actions like event retry (individual and bulk) through the Hookdeck API

3. Hookdeck Account Requirement

To use HooksView, you must:

• -Have an active Hookdeck account in good standing
• -Provide a valid Hookdeck API key
• -Comply with Hookdeck's Terms of Service and acceptable use policies

We are not responsible for your relationship with Hookdeck or any issues arising from your Hookdeck account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• -Keep your API key secure and confidential
• -Not share your API key with unauthorized parties
• -Immediately revoke your API key if you suspect it has been compromised
• -Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• -Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the App
• -Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• -Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• -Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• -Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of data displayed

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any:

• -Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• -Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• -Service interruptions or data loss
• -Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
• -Issues with your Hookdeck account or the Hookdeck service

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the Hookdeck API, which is a third-party service. We are not responsible for:

• -The availability, performance, or reliability of the Hookdeck API
• -Changes to the Hookdeck API that may affect the App
• -Hookdeck's terms of service, privacy policy, or data practices
• -Any issues with your Hookdeck account or subscription

8. Intellectual Property

HooksView and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Parent Systems and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Hookdeck and related trademarks are the property of Hookdeck Inc. We are not affiliated with Hookdeck Inc. and make no claim to their trademarks.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
